3 tens will get you the most bass with the least amount of distortion. (High SPL without loss of SQ)

I used to have 3 10's. They sounded good, very clean. I know have 2 10's with more watts and are way louder. It all depends on the sub, the enclosure and if its in a trunk or a hatchback or so on. In my evo i have 2 10's very clean and very loud.

I voted for the 3 tens and would also like to note what kareem said was 100% correct

"3 tens will get you the most bass with the least amount of distortion. (High SPL without loss of SQ)"

6 good luck fittin that in a lancer trunk cause you know you would be running at least 3 amps with that....

for me if money wasn't an object I would go for 3 JL W7 10" subs with 2 1000 watt amps bridged to power them hell yea.....

now there's an idea.... no trunk left at all but I think it would fit as long as the side enclosures were small enough to make room on the floor for the amp racks

Would sound great if its set up right and amps are adjusted correctly it'll sound awesome but you better be gettin some hella powerful midrange speakers and tweeters to compensate for that much bass

personal recomendation is Focals Utopia speakers with about 175 rms per speaker should keep up with the subs and have the best SQ you can immagine... if you got the bucks to do it
