New Alpine iPod interface
New Alpine iPod interface
Hey guys, I know alot of you here including myself have been looking at headunits that integrate the iPod as easily as possible. Well I went to a news site I check frequently and found this link:

Not sure how many people out there know about this but I think it rocks! I'm not real big on buying a new head unit but for what it does with the iPod I think it will be worth it. Alpine is doing an offer now too if you buy a new head unit and the module that plugs into the iPod you get either $30 or $50 back. So there is some incentive. Just thought I'd let the iPod people know about it.
I'm going to try an get one in the next month or so but all my money lately has been going to new Lacrosse gear and club dues.
Does anyone here already have a this set up? I'd like to know how well it works.

most good headunits have aux inputs that you can line in your ipod to. I am getting an alpine 9835 and this unit because i like the fact taht i can control the ipod functions right from the deck instead of f'ing with the ipod when im trying to drive.
with most of the 2004 apline Ai net radios, you can attach the ipod controllerand it works great. If you are thinking about getting one now though, would wait bc their new ones for 2005 will handle the brand new ipods as well.
