piggyback possibly acting up in cold weather
k so a few months back it got really cold here and my car was acting up, so I talked to Rob at RRM and we came to something to make it functional but b4 it was mainly a idle issue, well past few days its been like -26 celcius w/ windchill its like -38 here and my car idles ok but when i go from like 2nd to 3rd,etc around 3000rpm my car like jerks, chokes, hesitates, whatever u wanna call it, but its pretty bad then i have to like punch it to keep it going, it feels like its leaning out or like lack of fuel is getting to it. It could be possible its cause of the cold but i cannot be certain. What can i do so this **** stops....its only decent at around 5th gear when theres constant fuel going through, its the shifting gears part that it sucks.
what would happen if i jus unplugged the piggyback? keep in mind i am running the stage 2 kit so i do have bigger injectors and the piggyback does regulate those injectors....see the map there is configured for California weather so the fuel curves are adjusted for that.
Someone suggested putting in a heated garage, let it warm up, then drive it, i dont see how that will work b/c once its driving its cold out.
The fuel pump or n e thing isnt messed up is it?? i doubt it cause it idles ok.
I know its a air/fuel ratio issue....

and dammit i jus found out that someone threw away my stock injectors so now i dunno what 2 do...
n e one know if i can use any other injectors for the time being and what wire on the piggyback i would cut. jus until i buy the PG software then ill get it fine tuned for my country

it depends. do you have a bigger fuel pump? can you tune the piggyback? it would make sense that you're running lean under it being that cold. I would recommend being very very safe with your car... if you're car is jerking and it is that extreme of a condition you are risking blowing your engine. Colder air = more dense while the same amount of gas is going to your engine to mix with that air.. @ -35 degrees... well you imagine. ADD MORE FUEL.

i have a bigger fuel pump cause u need it for the RRM turbo kit, the piggyback is tuneable once u buy the software, im buying it tomorrow but it takes time to come PLUS i have to wait for a appointment to get it tuned. Ya right now my car is parked, my dad is taking me to work and my friends are driving me around, feels weird!! Your comment "ADD FUEL" well how unless i tune it right?? Also if i jus cut the Piggyback w/ my bigger injectors that would not work right would it?
