if you really want acceleration, then the best thing that you can do is get the pulley. you won't feel any difference with the muffler or a catback, only more vibration from the exhaust note resonating through the cabin.

yeah i understand that, but i have everyone of the mods you have listed in this thread, and then some, and i noticed the biggest difference with my tuned piggyback, but not far behind that was the pulley, and it was only 1/6th of the price of the piggyback/wideband.

yeh im def gonna buy the pully. prob start with the intake & hood scoop. Then the pully, then a muffler. I dont have much spending money though, so that will prob do me for now. Maybe in a few months i will get the throttle body n stuff, and then a piggy back

So how do i tighten the throttle cable and do that spark plug thing?

yeah that sounds like a pretty good list, very similar to how i started out. here is the thing about tightening your throttle cable, please read this thouroughly. it is highly recommended that you do NOT do this because you can mess up your car pretty bad.

Dont even worry about tightening the cable. I did it and at first it seems like the response gets much better but by the end of the day it felt like it was back to normal. And tightening it too much can cause it too snap if you floor it. Don't worry about the full catback either, the muffler will help with looks, sound, and opening the exhaust. You won't need a catback unless you had a lot done to the engine. Plus you will keep your torque with just the muffler. I'm curious on your hood scoop. Are you going to get one of the ducts from rrm and have it cut into your hood or are you just gonna get an actual scoop? I wanna see it when its done. I think thatll help out the intake a lot. you sound like you are headed in a good direction for starters. good luck with it.

Crypto, those are vents, used for removing hot air from inside the engine bay. That wont help the intake at all. Go to www.roadracemotorsports.com and find their hood ducts. thats what you want.

Thunder, if you mean pistons and rods, I think there is a small gain if done alone. But those are mainly used to run higher boost without blowing up or along with a camshaft which will make a much bigger difference. although the port & polish head they have now will do a lot cause its opening everything up more much like getting a bigger exhaust, bigger intake tube. It allows more airflow.

yes there are gains from it, and suprisingly pretty decent gains, even if you stay na. they are good for both NA and FI, because you will have stronger internals, which will really be handy if you run your car hard.

ok here is my unofficial shopping list so far.

Intake
Hood Duct
Muffler (not cat-back, just a muffler)
Pully
Throttle Body
Intake Manifold
Strut Bars
Rear Sway Bar
Piggy Back

I will have all of that done.....most likely never, but i will get as much as i can afford. lol

Any other suggestions, or does that sound good to everyone?
