Isn't a turbo more efficient and because of this produce more power, as well as get better gas mileage?

Not necessarily.

Turbo - run off exhaust gas.
SC - run off belt attached to crank

How are you defining efficiency? To me something that's attached to the car and responds to the throttle is the best option. Not sure how the mileage compares...

yeh i googled away and researched a bit, Im def gonna get sc over turbo.

I like instant acceleration power, and something reliable.

Turbo seems to complicated and apprantly runs the risk of blowing up.

I searched the forum too, found A LOT of arguing on this subject, but bassically for me

i want off the line acceleration, torque, easy to maintain and something that will last a while.....so for me....Supercharger.
