Do you have a A/F gauge or WB?

So how do you know if you're running rich or lean? That could be the problem...

Stay out of boost as much as possible until then. Don't make your engine blowup because of it. Oh, do you even have a boost gauge?

Well get a boost gauge and A/F... gotta have it before you blow something up. Even thought you are stage 1, you're only probably running about 5psi.

Who did the install for you?

Make sure you're bov is fully recirculated and not venting to atmosphere at all. If it is VTA then you are running super rich during shifts and quick throttle closings. Super rich can throw a CEL. Check your plugs, if they are rediculously covered in black soot, then you know you are running rich like a ****, if they are white and burned then you are running lean. If they look clean, free of any major deposit, and no burned whiteness on the metal, then you have a happy engine

I've experienced / heard of this problem with the piggyback while running stage 2, but not with stage 1 that i can recall. Have you messed with the idle screw in the throttle body at all?
