Unhappy ATTN: RRM Piggy Guru's...

So first of all my engine mods are CAI, 4g93 IM, 59mm Throttle Body, RRM Headers, 501 MAS, RRM Pulley, Vision FPR(set at 44 psi w/ vacumn line attatched), and RRM Piggy V2.

I recently put in the 501 MAS and it causes the AFR to go way lean...So i made a new map using 10.2 as the baseline for idle instead of the 10 which was programmed. I got a great idle with a bit of misfires but way better than before but the problem i'm having is while accelerating from a complete stop my AFR dips down to around 17-20 varying, and it feels like i'm not pressing the gas when in fact i am. So what i did to try fix this was to richen the map in that area(Circled in red). The area boxed in blue is the area when i am at idle... Even tho i richened it i still am getting the same problem... Anyone can help with this???? THANKS!!!

Oh and also the Open Loop portion isn't done yet. Just kinda made some numbers but i haven't taken my car into open loop yet...

Proxy at work blocks the pictures so I can't see your map.
When you added fuel to your map, did the A/F ratio change at all?
Have you tried making it pig rich in that area to track how the A/F ratio is being affected?

The MAF and factory ECU of the car could be overtaking the piggyback. I would switch back to a normal lancer MAF with the 65mm RRM TB. Are the AFR's changing at all when you change them??? I don't know much about that MAF, is that a pressure sensor?

No. That would be a MAP sensor (Manifold Absolute Pressure). MAF stands for Mass Air Flow if I'm not mistaken.

MAP VS MAF would probably be something like
PSI VS CFM

No offense but we'd like to be kept in the loop so we can help the next person with a similar issue

Don't take it that way. I need to talk and ask questions on the phone, not one question a day via the thread posting system......... No one said that he would not share the answer!

I am not. Maybe I wrote it wrong.
I just wanted to say I'm interested to know what's happening with his car.

Some times when a problem is fixed over the phone, we don't get to know what actually happened. That's all I meant.

i will be calling Rob later today but ya i tried richening the map but the engine studders hard when it hits there(9 AFR).

The open loop area is different from the area with the 609(lancer) maf. It is larger from around 1.2Volts to about 3.5Volts...

I got it idling with 10.2 in that area. but the area it hits when i press the throttle is the area i tried to richen up...

Okay called Rob and got everything sorted out....
Oh by the way i was using an eclipse mass air flow sensor, but after many many trials to get it to go smoothly from idle to acceleration i decided to ditch it. I came to the concluson that the eclipse(501) MAS plate allows too much air to pass thru the MAS undetected and thus the ecu cannot richen the mixture accordingly, causing an extremely violent transition from idle to partial throttle...
SO now using the Stock 605 MAS i attempted to lean out the AFR in the higher rpms... The AFR i was hitting before was around 12 to 12.1 so i leaned out the high rpm area about -5% and smoothed out the curve. Heres a pic of the map

With a 5% reduction i should now be running leaner in theory right? but my wideband is reading 11.8 AFR instead of the initial 12 which is in fact RICHER!!
I reset the ecu so what could be causing this? Is it just because i did such a small adjustment that its not showing up? I will try to lean it out around 10% and see what AFRs im hitting up... Who was it that richened the lower rpms/voltage regions of the map again(pretty sure it was only one guy)....
