How much performance does the the RRM Piggyback give you? Is it worth the $400 dollars to even consider installing it?

RRM's website would probably be a good start to find their product...

Before LuDa posts again asking what the URL is...

RRM webstore

MT version
CVT version
(Don't know which he has, since his profile lists a Supra...)

I have them. I'll post them tomorrow. Just shoot me a PM and remind me. Not only that, if you look at my Piggy Evaluation post, it will explain some.

i just got piggyback for my lancer cvt. so i was bored decided to go out side since it was a nice day to install it. wires are pain in the *** soo tiny. anyway i was doen installing the pigg started the car and engine light came on and my car was bogging down trying to stay started. check my connection everthing was fine since i soldered them. i reliezed in the instructions it say to cut the maf wire which was blue. well there is a light blue wire and dark blue wire, si i cut the dark blue one the 1st time and that was happened. so i called RRM they said itas prolly the light blue. so i treid the light bluw one with the same results. i have no clue whats wrong. so i uninstalled the piggy and now car runs finr, minus the ecu wires being kinda cut up, but anyway, does anyone know what i can do to fix it or what. me running 93 octane have to do ne thing with this. need help asap. thanks

That is some seriously ****ed up bull****. Their advice was to cut the other wire? It was probably the other wire?

Were the directions not crystal clear? Do you have things done to your ride that would inhibit its functionality?

Anyone else have problems like this?

I was the original tester for the piggy and found the directions crystal clear. In the directions it shows which pin on the harness that you have to splice into.

My guess is that you switched the green and purple wires. You do cut the dark blue wire in two. You then wire the green wire from the piggy to the MAF side of the blue wire. Then wire the purple wire from the piggy to the ECU side of the blue wire.
