what size resistors to use

well, i got low imedance 450cc fuel injectors(eclipes injectors) in my high impedance output lancer 02 es.

i was just wondering what kind of resistors i should use on my lancer to not fry my lancer's ecu.

planning to do it myself, so i don't want to use those stock accord or eclipes resistors, and use those individual fuse resistors that stand before the fuel injectors.

10 ohm inline Radio Shack resistors will work fine.

Sorry, it's kinda common knowledge on the Honda boards. You can use a resistor box too if you'd like a better look, but with Radio Shack (or any other brand really) 10 ohm in-line resistors heat shunk and soldered into one of the two wires leading to the injector you'll be fine as well. Whic of the two wires, not sure if it matters, but research that yourself...unless someone else knows off the top of their head.

thanks for the tip, i'll give it a try and give some feed back on how it is.

o yea, do you think that having no resistors could be a problem,
cause i'm starting to feel fuel cut or something like that at 3k to 4.5k. the engine just sounds like there was a fuel cut off. but that only happens when i step on the throttle at 40% or above.

also another thing to keep in mind about injectors if using an safc or safc2 , it only allows for a +/- 50% so if your stock injectors are 232cc putting in a 348cc injectors is really the max you would be able to properly tune.so if you put in 348cc injectors a starting place would be -50% accross the board 0-7000rpm then with the wideband for monitering you would start adjusting ratio's. on my eclipse fuel map stock injectors were 450cc i was using fic650cc i ended up around -14 0-2500rpm and -22 2500-4800rpm then around -43 4800-7000rpm... this was enough fuel to boost 25-30lbs on a small 16g , big 16g, evo3 16g.
