Hey guys i just got my tactrix cable and downloaded ecuflash and it is freaking sweeet... lol.. but anyways i was having problems with my ECU from the dealer flashing the ECU for some recall... and was wondering if someone had Base maps of there 2003 Lancer OZ... so maybe i could see if that makes a difference in driveability, then tune from that so i dont have to go to extremes trying to get my car running right... not sure if this is possible or not but was wanting to give it a try...

 

Look on AktiveMatrix.com, last time I looked, they had the stock Evo maps, they might have the base lancer maps. Not sure, but its worth a look.

 

You'd be much better off starting from scratch. The term "base map" is relative in that it would have to have been made by someone with the same engine mods as you. You might end up having to perform more tuning if you use someone else's map as base.

 

well a factory base map one that has not been reflashed fora recall... so hats why i was wondering if i could get a base map some how.. plus my car seems to operate better with the factory base map... just wondering if someone has a map that hasnt been reflashed from factory map... thanx..

 

You didn't make a copy of your original ROM? What is the ROM ID? Without this nobody will know what you need.

 

81900006 is the definition file... im not sure what the rom I know the case number of the PCM it is MR988327 i belive off the top of my head... not excatly sure what rom ID is im kinda new at this just trying to learn...
