I've tried both 0.03913*x+10 and 0.03913*x+9 and I'm seeing a big variance between the gauge and the output in EvoScan - at idle I'm seeing 12-14 on the gauge and only 10.x in EvoScan....

Also- how is the requestid of 3c determined? the value looks so off i'm starting to think that i may have to use a different requestid?

The request is determined by the address in the rom. You may need to look it up in your mut table. I've found that the formula in evoscan has been pretty good and left it.

Hi Guys, sorry to bring this back up.

I am logging through both USB & Direct. Also using +10, although it seems to be off once it goes less than 10.9 AFRs or so. Has anyone got it working perfectly yet?

So after cutting pin 75 of evo ecu add the white (aem serial) wire and solder it together and not use other end of wire from 75?

Or do you Solder both cut wires and add in the aem wire?

Read through 9 pages I didn't find a answer.

pin recommendation

Hey what pin would you recommend for the EVO 456 ECUs as we don't have the rear lambda.?

Prerequisites...
-Tactrix Cable
-AEM EUGO wideband (already installed and working)
-Evoscan (installed on a laptop so you can plug into the car using the tactrix cable to take logs)
-Lancer evolution 8 ecu

Step one

cut wire connecting to pin 75 leaving some wire hanging out of the ECU , you will tap into this wire with your aem gauge . Your aem gauge will have red , black , blue , and white wire coming out of it . The red and black are, red for power, and black for ground these 2 wires power your aem gauge, the white wire is an analog output wire you will be connecting this wire to the wire going into pin 75 on the ecu.

step two

Launch evoscan

step three

Right click any scanning object in the list and click the option edit data item.

step four

click add new item in the bottom left hand corner , new item option will apear on the right hand side where you will input all the data from the next screenshot.

step five

display: AEM UEGO
LogReference: AFR
RequestID: 3C
Eval: 0.03913*x+9
Unit: AFR
MetricEval: 0.03913*x+9
MetricUnit: AFR
ResponseBytes: 1
GaugeMin: 5
GaugeMax: 20
ChartMin:5
ChartMax:20
ScalingFactor: 10

After inputing this information , click OK .

I tried this 0.03913*x+10 formula but my AFR display on the Gauge and what was displayed on the log were off by 1 so I edited the formula to 0.03913*x+9 ...

step 6

You will now have a option within evoscan to select AEM EUGO and can log your wideband now without having to plug in an extra serial cable ...

step 7

Now open ecuflash and edit the table below to 0x0009 to get rid of the rear o2 heater cel...

Anyone ever get a solution for this? I have a JDM 8mr and would love to pin the wideband in but there is no rear 02 listed under pin 75.

AUDM Evo ix ecu looks pretty much like the jdm 8mr pin outs. Am I right to assume that I'll just cut into #75 wire on my ecu and it will be the same thing?
