It also has values for voltage latency, high octane map, and low octane map. Since I have another 8cc or so to play with... any recommendations on what to edit to trim fuel economy? Also, would running a full 240cc do anything useful?
Injectors are always scaled below there rated flow. If you raised the value to 240 then you would be supplying even less fuel to the system. This is because you are telling the ecu that the injectors are bigger and so it will assume it can lower the injectors pulse to supply the correct fuel.

ok. Would I be able to tweak larger injectors to work with my current setup, and then scale them up as I need to? Or are the injectors pretty much the last thing to upgrade after a bored throttle body, intake manifold, fuel rail, aftermarket coils? Or is it really only worth it with major mods like forged pistons and rods, turbo, and/or nitrous?

Just exploring possible mod routes without building up the engine or going turbo, basically trying to squeeze a few more hidden horses out of hiding while keeping it N/A...

The fact remains that you would be wasting your money since your current stock injectors are not being out flowed. You won't need larger injectors anytime soon. Even turbo Lancers can run 5-7psi on stock injectors, if that tells you anything to what the stock injectors can provide.

no kidding. cool. Just wanted to make sure I beat the horse dead if and when I ever need to replace any injectors I'll stick to stock size. Didn't know if I should go and increase the size when and if I needed to replace them from failure/etc. Thanks for all the good info!

any suggestions for saving fuel economy via adjusting the scaling at all?

Stay outta the pedal lol. Seriously though if you really wanted to you could use ecuflash to run your car in open loop cruise then you could adjust cruise to be at around 15.2 afrs which I am told is the best mileage ratio.

Then again if you dont have a wideband that might be difficult to do

Yeah, that's next on the list (the wideband). Just getting the hood/grill, bumper lips, and bumpers painted.

The reason why i'm asking about higher flow injectors, is that I'm seeing NEW hihg-flow (250cc-840cc) ones on eBay for cheaper than I can get USED stock injectors>>> So I wanted to check and see if I can get the larger injectors and make them work, or if I have to stick with the stock injectors.

Also, when upgrading injectors, is it worthwhile to get a high-flow fuel rail, or are those overrated unless pushing serious hp?

Jwick - Fasttrack Automotive in Peabody does inj. cleaning and flowing testing as well. I believe it is $25 per injector and a 24 hour turn around.
