Everyone here will tell you to buy a turbo or evo but if you're like me you don't have thousands of dollars in your back pocket...

RRM offers a piggyback that will give your car a bit of a boost. Would recommend you find a used one cause new they're a bit too pricey for the benefit

Also think about a header, really opens up your exhaust (since you have intake/muffler already) and gives your car a meaty sound. RRM offers one and eBay has several for extremely cheap but I quality will probably suffer

Yeah you know the sayin (build-not-bought) lol. I was thinking of buying better headers and a catback exhaust which would that be all and I could just install?

A catback isn't necessary unless you've got power to push the air through. You'll probably lose some low end torque if you open it up to 3" all the way back

search our for sale section, there's usually some listed there

Just make sure you find one with the correct flash. There's a separate flash for a manual and an automatic

hey - i'm actually looking for a used piggy too.. 02 manual oz. pm me please.

btw, you mentioned that a used one is a better idea because the new ones are more or less not worth the money... ~$450 shipped from rrm for me. I'm just wondering... how much did they used to cost?

exhaust flow

I purchased my OZ with a high flow system with header, cat, and exhaust. Once i Put a slightly more resited muffler on it I gained power. If you want sound go big but if you want performance theres no need to go all out.
Buy some exhaust piping and learn to weld if possible. I spent a lot of "wrench time" and gained acceleration and power just by modifying the exhaust from a overly modified version. Larger blocks like a 6 or 8 cycnl. the more flow the better.

Someone said it earlier there is no point if you dont have the air to push.

Just my experience...

Once my turbo parts all get in I can probably make you an awesome deal on these headers.
