ECU flash by WORKS before or after headers?

Alright so ive already bought intake, exhaust, light-weight pulleys for my 2010 lancer gts, now im wanting to invest in some headers...BUT i want to get my ecu flashed and will eventually be going to a performance shop in indy to have my car dynoed. i want my flash tune to net me the biggest gains i can get for the mods i have. With that said, should i wait to get headers or go ahead and put them on before the ecu is done because ive read about alot of people slapping headers on their car without getting it tuned and then they see no gains whatsoever..im still learning about these newer lancers and their engines and how to go about tuning so if any of you have words or advice i would appreciate it GREATLY

i have big plans for my car once its paid off, eventually rebuilding my 2.4L engine with cams and turbo, but for now im not going to do any crazy engine mods.

Good flashes for the lancer are available on the web. No need to go buy them now... U just need someone with a tactrix cable, the tune, definition files and viola. So u can tune or after headers, u will see gains either way.
