ecuflash problem

Hi all I am trying to edit the ecu map of my evo 7.
I have read the map from the ecu......resulting in a readimage*.

The problem is here, only the immobilizer code and the initial code are visible.

The other timing, fuel maps etc are all not visible.

what could be the problem?

regards

You lack a defintion file for the rom. The id of the rom should be visible search google with the id.xml and get a proper definition for your car.

Should have a rom info spot at the top of the left column with a internal id:

For example an evo 8 can look like this 94170015

Also when you open the rom the middle of the program is a running log it should say what it is there as well. Here's a snipet.

[13:35:15.797] 94170015 (72 tables) inheriting evo7base (73 tables)
[13:35:15.797] 94170715 (45 tables) inheriting 94170015 (74 tables)
[13:35:15.797] 262144 byte image read.

Download the definition and put it in the "rommetadata" under the "lancer" section in the PROGRAM FILES. It explains it better in the master definition thread.

While that would work his case is an evo so it would be better to slap it under the evo folder.

(program files folder)/openecu/ecuflash/rometadata/mitsubishi/evo/ (put file)
