I am looking for some useful mods

Im new to this forum and this is my first import and not really sure what I should do with it. I have an 08 Lancer GTS. I dont need a race car but I would like it to have some more pep. Im not looking to turbo it but what are some other things I could look into and decent brands to buy.

Injen coldair intake
greddy sp-elite axle back exhaust
sprint booster (eliminates throttle lag)
and either springs or coilover suspention.
these all seem to be the standard crap guys do to their GTSs

Really it depends on what you want. Being somewhat experienced I could say a lot of this stuff is easy to install, but starting out here's a few things:

Intake, Springs, Wheels, Throttle Body (4G69), axle back exhaust. I say these because most of this can be done with hand tools, although I highly discourage installing springs with hand tools (its a PITA).

More advanced stuff: Alutec Pulley, Coil Overs, Suspension Braces, full exhaust from the header back, header.

Most of that stuff isn't as simple as just bolting on.

Hit me up if you're looking for coilover; AMR has a special where if you buy a set of either street or race coilovers for a X you get $150 off their monster front strut bar which retails for $350 and if you buy the coilover through us you'll also get 15% off the price of the coilover.

For more pep and easier to break loose the tires, get a high flow drop in filter like WORKS (preserves low end torque and initial acceleration), preserve the back pressure in exhaust with GREDDY axleback exhaust (preserves low end torque and acceleration), and get a ECU tune for easy 18hp/18tq on GTS (300 dollars for flash tune from WORKS and adds fuel economy), lightweight crank pulley (150-200 dollars) for more low end acceleration.

Sprintbooster to reduce throttle lag.

From experience short ram intake and cold air intake is just going to lose more low end acceleration, and I wouldn't call what they do pep. They really only come into their element closer to WOT and above 3000rpm range.

The lancer GTS 2.4L has a more torque style engine compared to civis SI which has a more hp style engine. Trying to add HP to lancer just going to make everyday drivability slower.
