2014 es 2.0l most power for N/A
Hey guys whats the best way to get the power out of this lil 2.0 with 150hp lol. i mean my gsr integra had more than this thing..but i know this motors got more tq and stuff. but i just want to reflash it? cai, exhuast, lighter pully? whats the best. and for the money? thanks
what exactly are you looking to get power wise? Depending on what tranny you, any thing over 160 whp will be a stretch. so know you might have some catching up to do and you may not put down amazing numbers with your 2.0 cvt.
you also have weight working against you. so a 10hp gain in your 2500 pound integra will not have the same effect on a 3,400 pound lancer. So you may net some gain on a dyno but you won't actually feel it.

i have a 2012 Es Manual with intake, pully, and axle-back exhaust. My butt dyno felt the best gains with the intake. i didnt really feel anything by adding the pully on. But i felt a little more pep with the axle-back. but thats just my opinion. Other people may have experienced different things, or actually dynoed there car to find out.
with the 5 speed you have less of a handicap so with full bolt ons you can expect 160 and up.
seems like you already have the right idea with a tune & i/h/e mods. If you're looking for more low end ummph than a 4-2-1 header will be better than a 4-1 header. sadly the only aftermarket 4-2-1 header i know of is rpw and they're all the way in the aussie land. The only other 4-2-1 header I know of is the stock 4b12 header on the 2.4 gts lancer. (iirc)
for the intake; they're all pretty much the same when it comes to the 2L so pick the one you like the most and don't look back.
for the exhaust; anything axle-back is just a noise maker imo. I had a WORKS EXHALE ab exhaust which is pretty much a muffler delete and didn't do much of anything on the dyno. My 2L cvt made a whopping 110hp with a pulley, k&n drop in, and WORKS EXHALE. so I would stick to cat-backs or header-backs. With I/H/E the 5 speed 2L should be in the 155whp range. with a tune you'll be in the 160+.
If you do all of that and still want a bit more, you can get a throttle body from a 4g69 motor, drive pulley, and possibly evox cams.

Hey bud, old thread but I also have a Es but a 2012. From my experience the weight of are car kills a lot of upgrades. But your best route is Header 4-2-1, High flow cat to 3"Cat back mix that with a Decent CAI/SRI you will roughly get a 8-12hp/tq gain. Next get you a lightweight crank pulley and 4g69 TB, Then get a Ecu FLASH from "WORKS" That's pretty much the basic bolt on's. Want to go more? Get Evo X Cams, stronger fuel pump like a walbro with bigger fuel injectors and a fuel pressure regulator. That's about it if you need links to pages for parts/brands and info lmk
Hi there I have the same car an ES with a MT with an intake and exhaust bolt ons but I ordered cams from an EVO X and most likely the 4G69 TB and am wondering how does one get the car tuned after all this? Can it be done online or do I have to take it to a speed shop which is about 6 hours away
Thanks
