2014 Lancer GT
2014 Lancer GT
Hi, recently purchased a used Lancer GT 2.4 Manual. I was offered a pretty nice price at low mileage with a good amount of mods. Current setup is an aftermarket turbo, downpipe+ straightpipe, intake and a pretty aggressive tune.
As I mentioned above, I got a car for a good price from a friend of mine that is a used car dealer. He got the car with a blown engine(stock), replaced it and left everything(including the tune) the way it was. Had it for a few weeks and it seems to run fine, but I am getting a pretty low gas mileage around 16 MPG even when driving without boost. I also found a balance sheet for 1000cc DeutscheWorks fuel injectors in a pile of papers that came with a car.
I was wondering if first of all it's even possible to put in 1000cc injectors into a 4B12 ? That's 4 times the stock rate, sounds like way too much to me.
My second question was is it possible that my car is running lean now since the fuel injectors are smaller and the car was tuned for the bigger ones(if those were even possible to put in the engine).
