370cc or 440cc?
Ive been read this forum for about 4 months, getting answers to my questios. I have made my own research i have read Ambystomo01 FAQ and others. And all of you got different points of view, some think injectors 440cc and others in 370cc for a mitsubishi lancer, im with the 370 but i have a question, what means/whats the difference of this 2 types of injectors. Both are Rc engineering (sorry for my english im from Puerto Rico). Ill be thankfull if you guy give me a hand on choose wich one better for my Lancer 2004 ES Automatic. Here are the 2 types of injectors.
Universal All Years PL37 $324.48
Trim: Specs: RC Fuel Injectors 370cc Peak and Hold - (Low Resistance - 2.5ohms / Measured at 43 psig
Universal All Years SL37 $339.07
Trim: Specs: RC Fuel Injectors 370cc Saturated - (High Resistance - 12-16ohms / Measured at 43 psig
Wich one can fit as direct replacement/direct swap.
The upgrade of injectors to 370cc? or alcohol boost cooler?.
i would go with wrx 440's that are blue, but if you want to buy new ones i guess you can get away with the 370's. the only reason i went with 440's was because i was running 10-12 psi and i wanted to make sure i could always get enough fuel the the cylinder.
make sure you look at the impedence of the injectors. (thats why those two are different) i believe lancers use high impedence. someone correct me if im wrong.

440cc will be good for 325whp
370cc will be good for ~280whp
Both will be plenty for a stock engine and then some. However i would go with 440's since it will have a lower duty cylce. Whatever you do, get the correct style injector so the car runs well

These guys have some too. They use the stock injector body and can make any size you require.

well with the WRX 440CC what are you guys using to program the fuel delivery? or are you guys running stock ECU with just larger injectors? i'm running the RRM 16G set up with 5th injector and i want to do away with the 5th injector set up, and go larger injectors... but don't know how much $$$ will be involved with going bigger.. yea to all you peeps who want to say " use the search button" i'm lazy so someone just tell me =)

well jonas if you want to do away with the fifth injector your also gonna have to do away with the piggy back that controls it i think, you will need a wideband for tuning and you will need some way to control the larger injectors, then either reflash using the ecuflash and cable, or use an apexi safc and tune with that...
