This is my first time using ECU Flash and working on Mitsu ROMs, but I have used RomRaider etc successfully in the past with other vehicles . Its nice to see this community has figure out how to flash and edit these ROMS.

I'm attempting to open this bin in ECU Flash, but i don't have a definition. Can someone please assist me in confirming whether its safe to flash this ecu with this software in general? If it is, can someone provide a definition, or point me in a direction towards creating one? Also has the checksum issue been resolved in ECUFlash, or do we need to use a checksum correction utility?

I tried to determine the ECU ID using one address method listed in another post for by CrimsonRed, by observing addresses 0x5002a(to 0x5002d) .. not sure if that applies to this car, but i see 8388800 in this ROM (I think.. LOL) if someone could confirm that is the ECU ID i would greatly appreciate it.

I'm learning WinOls and HxD etc.

p.s. is there any paid software that I could consider for these cars that i could tune myself, excluding 'dealer' sw like ecutek etc?

I have 2 'base' Lancers to tune if possible, one NA (this 2015), other turbo 2010 conversion.
