cheap sounds...

cut off ur last muffler the big one, leave the samller one (resonator) and leave the two cats alone. this sounds really good, and doesnt set off and light in ur car. and its really cheap. i went and bought a small stain less steel tip (not the kinda that makes noise) for 25 bucks and it sounds like i have a 250$ exhaust on it with no visible HP loss just a thought for the cheap ppl out there

ur kidding right? . . . . if u cut the muffler off and put a tip on it isn't it way under the car so that u cant see the tip anyway, or did u then run more straight pipe out the back to extend ur exhaust after u cut it . . .?

i would think it would just sound as if your muffler fell off . . . is that good?

Yeah, same concern. There is an older Celica that has that done i my neighborhood, and in my opinion, the fartcan Civics around here sound better, and I hate those things.

why!

that is so ricey.just buy a exhaust system for $195 to $285 it will sound better and get hp gains.plus it wont sound like your car is broke down p.o.s.Or you can do what the ricer boys do buy a muffler and weld it to the stock pipeing for a grand total of $90 bucks include muffler. You can do this by going to a midas with a muffler of ebay. rice on !
