Will this work?

It's been about a month since my last post. I've been workin hard and saving money to finally start modding my Lancer and I think know what I want to do now in the performance department. So what I'm asking is are all these parts compatible with one another. here's the list:

Injen Short Ram intake
RRM TB
RRM headers
RRM forged pistons
RRM Turbo w/ intercooler
Greddy Full catback exhaust
RRM Test Pipe
RRM LSD
RRM Clutch and Pressure Plate
Magnecore Spark Plug Wires
Buchur Downpipe

I'm pretty sure these will all work with each other but if not, or someone wants to suggest something else then please let me know. I've also been toying with the idea of doing a MT conversion but the cost seems to outweigh the benifits.

you do not need the short ram intake because the RRM turbo kit comes with all of the piping already. also, i believe the kit comes with a down pipe so you don't need the Buchur downpipe. everything else is good.

sell the auto and buy a stick b4 you do ne thing.

Unless you sit in traffic like me, in that case keep the auto....

I love how passionate people are about tranny decisions.
When I buy a real sports car, Ill go the logical route....lol
Zlancer is right though, to fully enjoy those mods a stick would be prefered.

That's what I planned on doing if I decided to go that route. But doesn't it cost an arm and a leg to get it done?

Don't need the headers because the TC comes with special exhaust manifold. Also you realise that is like 8000 worth of stuff when u get it shipped and installed.

Also I recommend a Manual too!!!!! Above all!

If this is a serious project I'd like you to post your quest and also I'm interested what kind of boost you will be able to run with the forged pistons... 8 LBS?

The GReddy Catback exhaust... I dont know if that is out yet for Lancer 03 but I haven't checked on it.

This setup is really nice!! I hope you have a trustworthy mechanic to help you out with everything.

Manual conversion...jeebus. Such a waste of time and effort. He can get the header since Road Race doesn't use a purpose built turbo manifold, they use a return pipe (cuts cost kids). Everything else is fine...funny, looks familiar. Oh wait, it's the Road Race webpage. He'll be able to run 8lbs of boost with his intercooler...after that in the double digit range...then he'll need the beefed up guts. What worries me though is the 90% injector duty cycle (+/- 5%). I'd hate to have an injector freeze

Greddy is still developing the exhaust but it is comming. It'll probably be another month or two before I have all the money I need to get all the mods I listed. Wish me luck, hopefully I don't get fired before I get all the money.

I think I heard ROCK saying something about bigger fuel injectors were unnecessary, but that was for 6 lbs of boost, sooo........

The number I got was for 8 PSI of boost. It would obviously be less for 6. Fuel injectors obviously wouldn't be the only part of the equation, especially in a car that was built NA but going FI. Fuel rails, a pump, and an FPR (included with kit though).

the down pipie would work because the road race comes with a down pipe from the turbo down to the existing down pipe

Are you refering to the Buchur Downpipe being able to work?
