Sadly enough I've seen that on a cavalier by a blockbuster up here, guy was a total ricer, outrageous bodykit, way too low, all on stock rims.

Yeah I'm just more of the function over looks kinda guy, I rather be fast than look fast. Some of those guys are the same way, they got some stuff under the hood and know what they are doing, but a lot of them are complete dillholes, they think the wing makes them faster or the unpainted body kit makes them lighter. The best are the guys who think welding a fart can on will give like 20 hp. Just watch Sport Compact TV and you'll see them, most of the viewers rides they profile are the classic riced up civics who are 1. autos and 2. have like 10K$ into the body and maybe an intake under the hood.

True, fast is relative though, its all about simply getting the most you can outta the car.

LOL.

How about rotating that rubber tube and routing a pipe directly behind the tranny? I have to look at that later.

Anyways, it's not that important, I was just exploring the idea with you guys. Maybe I can snag some PVC before I come down and we can mess around with it.

Thanks for the comments guys

Daniel

i don't think that would be the best idea, they make cold air intakes with hard piping for a reason, smoother airflow delivery. you can try it but that flexpipe is liable to crack under the vaccum pressure that its going to be under, then your going to potentially end up with some real problems.

it can be done a few different ways on an auto, but you have to relocate the battery to the trunk....i'm contemplating it myself, but i don't know if it makes that much of a difference between sri and cai.

Yeah, I've pretty much concluded that it's a waste of time lol. If I get the flexpipe as a gift or something I'll do it (I already have flexpipe plans) but I won't spend my time doing that when I could be saving up for other things.

for lancers bolt ons such as cai and sri. will yeild reletivly same hp. next to none.. i mean what 2 hp versus 3 hp...who the fock cares... sri is fine for autos like me.. im not going to waste my time faricating a cai..the added flex pipe alone would prob ruin the extra 1 hp... then id have less than if i had a sri... screw it this thread needs to die im tired of seeng it up here!
