Valve Cover Bolts

I started to notice oil dripping out from the valve cover. Each bolt was loose so I tighten down. What would cause these bolts to get loose and what is the suggested torque that I should tighten these bolts at?

It might not be the bolts that are the problem. The gasket for the valve cover might be blown. If you have the bolts torqued down to the correct spec as stated above, then the gasket may be the culprit.
