Smile Latest piggyback install

Well - i am the latest victim to install RRM's vaunted piggyback. Install went pretty well and i did it with the connectors so i didn't have too much of a problem. After i hooked everything up - i started the car and i didn't know what to expect when they say "high idle". Mine went up to 1000 rpm's and i let it idle from 6:26 until 6:40 pm and then i took it out of a test drive from then until 7:15 - a good 16 mile loop with a mix of stop n go and open highway. i kept my revs low - shifted about 2000 every time. the idle seems to be okay for most part after i re started the car a second time. i'll go easy on the car for the next few days until i romp on it but she seems pretty eager to go. i'll check the connections in a day or two and see if they're okay. hope to run real good in two weeks when the track opens for a tune and test.

Man, I would love to get the piggyback. But now I am comtemplating trading in the OZ for a Ralliart. I've had the OZ for two years now and 19000 miles......kind of want something a little different. Sorry back on topic. I loved the piggyback when I had mine. Good job getting it installed. Any problems starting the car?

I used those wire quick connectors that you crimp with pliers (the red ones) when I installed my eManage. Yes, it works very well

how long do these problems occur after the piggyback is installed? and how long do you have to baby the car?

well, install was pretty simple - the directions are quite clear and the wires are easy to identify. There were no problems with startup yesterday or today but on the way to breakfast this morning, i got a CEL - but then i thought about it - i DO have headers so that may be the cause. I will re check my connectors tomorrow to make sure everything has a good connection and i will give the piggyback another day or two to learn before i stand on it. The first tune n test session at my track is 2 weeks from today and i can hardly wait to see what all my mods this winter have got me.

I'm actually thinking about selling mine. I would take $340 for it since theres no wear and tear on it. Thats $340 + shipping. I made a quick disconnect on it to take it off when needed. Nothing wrong with it, just that my plans have changed. I love the thing and would reccomend it to anyone. Let me know
