this is what your fuel gauge looks like on "E" for Empty
Find the gas station of your choice. If you've not been to one before, I suggest the Yellow Pages
This is the fuel door. It's imperative that you identify this early on in the project- it's on the driver's side, near the rear of the car.
This is the fuel door release, and what it does.

live dangerously man!!! more pics coming
Squeeze the handle
Use the latch to hold the handle for you
Watch the numbers go up!
Phew! they finally stopped
Put the nozzle back (reverse of removing the nozzle from the pump) and turn the gas cap to the right to tighten it.

with the gas cap back on, close the door (two pics)
Then you can get back in the car, start it up and watch the needle go to the "F" position (for Full)
Now, I had to pay before I pumped. You may need to pay after. Don't drive off before paying.
I didn't really like this mod. The car feels heavy, sluggish. The wife thinks the effect of this mod might go away over time, but I've heard that I'll have to do it AGAIN when that happens..... that sucks!!
