help in swapping
hi guys if iam swapping from 4g13 manual , and am gonna get the 4g94 sohc or the 4g92 mivec both are automatic so can they fit with my stock gearbox or what i have to do?????? also tell me your openion about the 4g92mivec which produce 175hp
wingnut - if you read his other thread, he's not in America. They might not have 4G94s available there.
The general folks have no knowledge of the 4G92, so you'd have to ask a major tuner. RPW is a good example.

The 4g94 is no less worthy than the 4g92. Nor is it a bad motor. The power delivery is simply more linear than the 4g92 from the dyno plots I've seen. The real question in my mind is what car you're planning on putting the new motor in. If it's a small, lightweight car I'd probably go with the 4g92 because the lack of torque wouldn't be as bad, and the peak HP would probably benefit you more. If the car is bulkier I'd go with the 94 because of its flexibility low-mid range torque. Ultimately the choice is obviously up to you, but there's my $0.02.

No, 1300cc Lancers do exist, even though not in our part of the world. Actually sub 1.5L cars are a staple in many countries where the roads are not as open and the focus is not as horsepower driven as we here in the US.
Nonetheless, it would depend on your flywheel. Chances are it will, but I have not seen a 1.3L in person. If it helps, the 4G15 gearbox bolts up to the 4G93 block, so i would figure that any 4G1x tranny would fit onto the 4G9x engine. But keep in mind, if you do keep your stock tranny, you will have a more powerful motor geared by a transmission suited to a smaller engine. Therefore your gear ratios might not be ideal.

If you get either motor just remove the transmission. The motor itself should be the same whether it's auto or manual. I don't think there's a difference in the flywheels, just the transmissions. You'd need a new ECU though.
EDIT: Yeah, and like AirQuez said you'd transmission's gear ratios wouldn't be ideal for either new motor.
