Exhaust
Not sure if this is the right forum to post this question in, and yes I already did a search but I'm looking for an aftermarket exhaust with the following specifications:
1) doesn't melt/damage rear bumper
2) not too expensive

I got my magnaflow catback for around 310 dollars. I ordered it from a custom tuning shop in my area that is now shut down. They should be around 310 bux on ebay once and a while, just keep your eyes peeled..

You can go to a muffler shop get 2 1/2 inch pipe bent the way you want it for your Lancer and that comes out to about 90-100 bucks and then put a magnaflow muffler to it. That's the best way to do a magnaflow catback. Almost half the price for the exact same thing you would get if you bought it from magnaflow.
get one with the tip double walled, that should prevent the bumper from melting...
+ magnaflow is pretty cheap around 100 bucks... I just bought the universal one and had a shop weld it on...
chop old pipe weld muffler with some extension pipe...

you know i never understood the point of just putting a muffler on if you arent going to do the whole thing but i think custom is the way to go in the long run its cheaper and you can get it made to your specs
well 1 its a lot cheaper than a full cat back system... so if you can't afford one at the moment get the muffler now and do the mid pipe later... aftermarket does flow better than some stock muffler and sounds better...
