hi guys...
i have 2004 lancer with 4g13 1.3l engines it provides 90hp ana around 118nm of torque.
i wanna increase my hp with small stuff rightnow...
i have the air filter simota but without the pipe , and splitfire sparkplugs
so what can i do to raise my hp from 90 to 110hp which is enough rightnow...can some one help me cause i need that urgently.....

 

where are you from and why do 2004 lancers there still use 4G13s?

 

am from egypt, in europe and middle east the lancer is supplied with either 1.6 or 1.3 engines,,,anyhow can u help me

 

im not really familiar with 4G13 engines but i know for a fact that they are similar in structure to US Lancer 4G94 engines so perhaps you could use some parts made for the 4G94. check http://www.roadracemotorsports.com/drivetrain.htm for 4G94 parts and email (or PM a guy here named Rock or Vicious) to check for fitment on 4G13. increasing hp 90 to 110, look for a complete intake system, headers, test pipe, throttle body, catback exhaust, intake manifold, stuff like that.

 

That is incorrect.

The 4g13 is not similar it's the 4G93 that is similar to the 4g94.

On this board the only place to find parts for that engine will probably rest with www.rpw.com.au or if you feel the need to order from the US they have www.visionimports.com as one of their distributors.

Also check into the Australia forums as that is where RPW is located and those guys have the engines similar to what you are using. The only engine we had here in the US similar to that is the 1.5L 4G15 engine. It comes in our MIRAGE de Coupe.

Something slower than a 1.5L Mirage does exist....

Your best bet is to swap if you have the money. If not, get a 4G15 header, a cold air intake and exhaust. 1.5L parts should work back with the 1.3L but you wont get much gains. Your car really isnt geared towards performance .
