i just installed my kamakazi header and i used all new gaskets, the header is great, little less low end power but seems like more hp 3500rpm+ and it starts to rev really fast when it hits 3.5k, also it sounds great. i just wanted to know how i could check to see if it was leaking any exhaust gas from the gaskets, i don't want to kill myself with carbon monoxide while i'm driving.

If the idle is holding fine and and there's no strange lag and copious amounts of fumes coming out of your bay, you're fine. Can always try to listen for a hiss or a rattle shake if something isn't bolt well enough together.

 

You could also do the cold check... when engine is cold put ring of oil/water/some easily moved substance that adheares a bit-then start her up. If there is a leak you will see to substance gone. Chances are that if she doesn't leak cold she won't leak hot.
