^^^ awesome..yeah im not getting teh test pipe.. just asked if it would actually help or not.. thanks for teh replies.. so u guys advice me not to get it and just stick with my greddy evo catback for now? then maybe buy some slotted and drilled rotors.. sicne im in the nedd of new brakes..lol

Good point...I haven't heard of any NA ANYTHING using them. My buddy's 1997 Eclipse GS-T Spyder (with around 275WHP) uses one...with a T3/T4 Garrett ball-bearing turbo.

okey!! heres the thing!! all u 04 guys!! the greddy catback wont fit... the older lancers are shorter!! i found out the hard way!!!! sucks..i had to get it modified to make it fit.. but its worth it.. wut a pain!!!!!!! so any one want to do the same... get ready to spend some loot.. coz its not direct bolt on!! ahhhhhhhh....

The 02-03 Lancer exhaust is like 2inches shorter than the 04-05 Lancer. I found out the hard way when I tried to put the Buschur catback on my 05. Lucky for me when I slipped the magnaflow on I had barely enough room to grab it with a muffler clamp, and I mean barely enough, as in around one half an inch. I had to impact wrench the clamp to keep it tight enough to seal the muffler to the straight pipe because of almost nothing holding the two together. I also have no leaks and this has been almost 4 months now.
