Radiator hoses

http://www.500whp.com/catalog/produc...roducts_id=105 Perrin Radiator Hoses

http://www.500whp.com/catalog/produc...roducts_id=260 Samco Radiator Hoses
Both for EVO

Would any of those fit 4G94??? It should provide better cooling, right?

The lower hose may. I don't remember very well, but I think I checked that out once and determined they were similar if not the same. I may just be hallucinating though. Upper is way different. Try asking an Evo owner who replaced his to send you the stock ones. You could find out for sure.

I wrote to Samco against all odds asking them to make us a kit about....3 years ago. never even got a response laughing at me, much less luke-warm interest.

First link didn't work for me btw.

Upper one wont work, but the lower one will. The early Lancer (at least the 02) had a similar setup radiator wise as the Mirage, with the upper rad. hose offset to the driver's side of the car, and the hose slightly angled to accommodate the angled fitting to the block. The Evo's setup is more central so it wont work. The lower ones will, however.

Tonight when I get home, I will post pics showing the difference.

Not 100% sure.... hopefully, weather permitting, I will be meeting up with Wadadlig_Oz tomorrow and I will verify.

Bumping for AQ to post about these hoses.

We did meet up but never got the chance for the Lancer/Ralliart showdown.
The return road at the track was wet so they closed it down

I burnt off half a tank of gas and had my back seat out.
I hope I'll get a piece of that Ralliart one day soon.

Damn man, weight reduction and everything.... meanwhile I had all that Goodwill crap in the car.

Nonetheless, the run didnt happen as Wadad said so I have a chance to settle my nerves.

However, the Lancer radiator looks like the exact same one as the Evo and the pipe routing looks EXTREMELY similar. Based on when I had my Evo radiator, I was using a 2G Eclipse upper radiator hose and it worked.... which leads me to say that I strongly believe that the Evo radiator hoses will work back in the Lancer.

Hey a win is a win!!!!!! No body hates to lose more than I do

I'm surprised you didn't notice the missing back seat.

The Lancer does use the same radiator as the Evo, but the coolant hose location on the head is different if I remember correctly.

AirQuez thx for looking that up for me. I will order the radiator cap and new hoses sometime soon and then will post if it is the same or not.
