Engine Swap

Im not sure how ofter you check this post anymore, but the Lancer Evolution came to the us.. check it out here . Its pretty nice, i hear some talks about them makeing a coup version just for the u.s. About the motor swaps, if you are going to do a jdm swap of the 4g63, the main thing you may have to worry about is the Cyclone intake manifolds. The Cyclone is similar to toyota's TVIS intake manifold system, mainly giving better bottom end power.. basically what that means, its that because of crash regulations regarding firewall penetration by the drivetrain assembly, there are are also clearance issure between the jdm Cyclone manifold and the larger us a/c compressor.

The Cyclone system is only available for EVO I-III 4G63, which is facing the "opposite" way as compared to later (EVO IV-VIII). The US Mirage (97+) and new Lancer have the same engine orientation as the later phase EVO. Therefore, the Cyclone issue would be less likely to affect him

Nothing new to add, other than 15K would be you're low price for doing this, probably, and, oh yeah, Ninjas own the night.
