Any Ideas???

My engine will be sitting on the floor of my mechanics shop for a few days till insurance comes, so i was jw IF anyone knows any good mods, tuning i could do while the engine was out. i ordered the rrm pulley today and now im kinda stuck...


engine is in the process of being replaced, and ive picked up one for like $500 with 12k miles on it and a 2 year warrany

Do everything you want while its out since it'll be far easier. Get IM, TB, header, head work, pistons, fuel rail, pretty much whatever you want/can afford.

pistons and rods...its pricey but this is your opportunity. Intake manifold is another you might wanna look at.

i couldnt find any cams...not that i looked too hard. what would that do to benefit us lancer guys? i dont quite know what different cams will accomplish

New camshaft=more power, with tuning of course. RPW makes several styles of camshafts (ranging from mild grinds to full blown racing grinds for both NA and turbo applications) and if you search for "RPW camshaft" you should find a thread by WADAD I believe.

does anyone have the rpw cams or any idea if theyd be worth the $, ive got about enough to go stage 1 but im seriously thinkin about doin all N/A mods before i jump on a turbo, that way when i get it, and get it tuned, i can get those psi up there

I believe WADAD has an RPW cam, but if you search you should find some more as well as reviews and such forth. If you're going to turbo in the future I wouldn't recommend a new camshaft, most of the cams are pretty NA/turbo specific.
