what do you mean by load? if anything i think that the headlights would cause it to act spiratic. for instance, my ex-girlfriend's 94 altima has an alternator ready to walk out the door. her lights consistantly get dimmer but more importantly when you turn them on the idle drops 200 RPM's immediately. unfortunately, your problem seems to be working in the complete opposite mannor. your load condition seems to smooth it out (which i find fairly strange). any other details you could give us? any other strange noises, feelings, leaks, etc?

well when i stop if i have the clutch depressed once the wheel completely stops moving the idle dips to about 400-500 and right away fixes its self but if i stop like a normal car (pop it in N and depress the brake it doesnt do that. it minor so i over looked it.

other than that no other problems starts fine and the idle issue only happens after i get on it a bit and then park the car.

with the clutch disengaged that is normal. a visible example of why --> jack up the front of your car so both wheels are off the ground. start the car and leave it it neutral. watch the wheels spin then have somebody disengage the clutch....yeah. it is also normal for the car to idle a little differently after you romp the gas a little bit. it needs to re-adjust the fuel and such. good luck. enjoy the new manifold.

yes. the valve often sticks open or shut. you need not replace it many times. you can clean them. mine used to stick open and cause the RPM to hang up. cleaned it and it minimized the hang greatly.

so i swaped my egrs and after rechecked all the hoses and stuff and guess what; i forgot (or it came off) to attach the hose that goes to the egr so i most likely didnt need to change it anyway

nice! we all do dumb stuff every now and again. we are kind of entitled to it....some of us more than others (i'm polish ) post an update to let us know if it is running better with the new(er) EGR valve on there. glad you found the problem

i don't understand that crazy language. are you saying it is fixed but comes back occassionally? if you are still seeing occassional issues with it try cleaning out your throttle body, change PCV valve, and make sure everything is on nice and snug (and in the proper locations). that should smooth things out a bit.

^ wow i must have been out of it or something

what i was trying to say was the cel is gone but the idle issue is still there and its really noticable when my turbo timer is counting down but as long as i keep at least one ***. on for example the defroster the idle is ok

i had that with the recall. turns out it was a coincidence that my EGR valve was lagging and often sticking open right after the PCM flash. make sure the valve you installed is in good shae and clean out the throttle body. that should eliminate the code.
