Aren't our rods fine for any NA stuff most of us are going to do. I think I read somewhere stock rods are good for like 8 or 9 psi of boost, so we should be fine without any rods.

^ yes, but for those of us who want to get some serious power out our cars using tubor or nawz, pistons and rods are a must.

^Very true. I'd like to take my T-28 alot higher then 9 psi, so rods and pistons is a must. And it would be nice if we can find a deal to make it happen. Like Crypto said serious power needs serious rods. Especially with high boost or nitrous.

Depending on the price, you might be able to get them at $500 depending on how many people actually do it. Just find a company that makes pistons and email them asking about making some for us with all the specs and see what they say.

I'll be $1 that the "Group Buy" fails when everyone goes "oh, yeah, sorry, uh, nevermind" when it comes time to pay up.

Sad but true. Everyone wants pistons, but most back out when the time comes to step up.

LOL exactly. Thats why I stopped participating in group buys a looong time ago, cause I too was one of the people that would back out. Although I usually had a good excuse like an expensive speeding ticket or something.

How much would pistons cost to have someone put them in? I can do bolt-ons all day long, but internals... I'm uncomfortable with that.

Figure a few hundred bucks. $300-$400 was what I was hearing when I was looking into getting my RRM pistons installed.
