Hey this is my first thread and I'm a nub but I was wondering which headers you guys recommend?
The Rpw race headers

I like the length of the Rpw headers, but I don't know if it will cause CEL, or if it is legal in NY.
Which do you guys recommend for reliability and performance?

Actually the rpw and rrm have a different design from what I saw. The rpw race version has longer pipes before they merge which is a better design correct? Aesthetics and minor price differences don't really concern me. Performance and CEL-free are my priority. Also how much do the RPW race headers cost? Their price list doesn't load on my comp. I appreciate the help btw.

rpw headers are like $481, and with the downpipe thing its like $560 (all estimates, but close). And they have a GB going right now to get like 20 off whichever one you buy
rpw header for $480 includes the down pipe the $659 also includes a high flow cat. Read the discription. the picture dosn't match. personaly i'm going with the rpw. I have a 2 1/4 exhaust from the flex pipe back. this kit would fully complete my exhaust system. I have ordered parts from rrm and have been vary pleased but i'm all about more power then show. all though either would increase power by eliminating the cat plus helping the spent gasses to excape. but as with EVERYTHING your personal taste/wants should come first not what other people tell you.
Everyone says that Long Tube Headers supposedly give higher peak horsepower and higher/smoother torque curve. but heres the weird part, i just read in Dsport mag and they dyno tested a long tube4-2-1 header setup on a civic and compared it to the dyno test of a short tube4-1 setup. To my surprise the short tube headers made 7.8 more peak horsepower and 5.1 more peak lbs ft(torque). I dunno if this is cuz its a honda or what but is paying $200 more really worth gaining ?hp and ? lbs ft? If you feel it is then i say go for it!
