Sea Foam
Your Camry is a 92, I would not be surprise if there was a hairline crack in the block. Seafoam is a very powerful detergent that can remove all the gunk stuck in a crack causing leaks. In your case, Seafoam may have degunked the crack letting smoke out, and the crack got patched right back with whatever was floating in that area.
On a different note, today I Seafoamed the Lancer for the first time. However, I did this by myself as opposed to having someone rev the engine while its sucking up the Foam. I'll tell you what I did so others my learn from it and people who have done it time after time can lend their knowledge to this specific situation.
First, I tried starting the car (letting it warm up for about 5 mins). Then I pulled this tube in the pic and the car shut off.

Next, I left the tube off and then turned the car on. The idle was choppy and sounded like the car was about to shut off. I gave it the seafoam. The more I let it suck the seafoam up, the more the engine revved on its on! I don't know what that means, so someone shed some light on this please for future reference. It revved pretty damn high once so I was scared and I backed off and let the engine return to a normal idle. Did this about 3 times (I only let it rev to a medium rev) until the Seafoam was done (1/3 of it that is).
Finally, after about 3 or 4 hours I started the engine up again. Initially a good bit of smoke came, but after about 30-60 secs it became very small. I can't say I really notice any benefits so far, but just the thought that my car is a little cleaner is benefit enough.
I've done this a million time, and I just got done doing it a few minutes ago, as for the person who posted that white smoke came from the engine, dude you spilled some. Trust me, I just did it. It was a very small amount but I caught it, that's what made the white smoke appear from the engine bay.
As for the post above me, did you reset your ECU? You should do that, you'll notice a smoother idle and better acceleration because your car is clean. The best thing to do is find a small pan and do it so half the tube is taking up seafoam and the other half has air. After all that, there should be smoke coming out while your car is on. Rev it till there is a little bit of smoke then drive for about 5 minutes to get rid of the rest. Reset ECU let idle, then drive after the engine "learns".
If you make any mistake and your engine hydrolocks and/or blows, I hold no responsibility.

I'm a little scared to try.. but I got my can, and am gonna give it a whirl within the next couple days. By the way, if you're having a hard time finding this stuff... Home Depot sells this, or did when I worked there 2 yrs ago. I'd imagine other home improvement stores would as well.
Dang! Kinda sucks, but good i guess.. but threw a can in all three areas... waited for some cool smoke.. and nothing. not even a tiny puff of smoke cloud present. I guess that the engine was squeeky clean. aww well..
Did you let it sit with the stuff in there? Or did you pour it in, and went out for a drive right away? Once you have fed the intake manifold with 1/3 of a can, you let your car sit a few minutes(I wait a while) to let the Seafoam do its thing. Then you take it for a spin.
Ah I see. Yeah I fed it the goods drove aroud the block once, parked it, and didn't start it until the following morning for work. No smoke or anything then either. The car does feel a tad more responsive, and my idle is really nice and low.
Hmm. I brought out my measuring cup. Haha. Exactly 1/3 of the pint went right in the vac line. I fed it pretty slow though good mixture of air/seafoam. Pinched the line good so it didn't gobble it all down too fast. I was afraid of hydrolocking and no being able to start again. I guess better safe than sorry.
