Sea Foam
Less chance of hydrolock. I have never attempted to suck it in liquid form straight out of a can but that would make me nervous. Atomized in short bursts takes alot longer but is pretty safe. We did it on my neighbors EVO IX last week and the side benefit is he detected a massive exhaust leak. So I consider Seafoam along the lines of a boost leak check would be for the intake. Its the badass.
Hell of a way to break my post cherry. But yeah, I LOVE Seafoam. I just couldn't hold it in any longer. So many people talk down about it, but I can't say enough good things.
Geronimo, I almost read that wrong, I thought it said you were going to Seafoam your girlfriend...I'm like, that's either kinky, or illegal....and then I read on, hard to read on an HDTV from across the room.

My Evo has just under 90k on it, and I used Sea Foam today. I got a clear "ketchup/mustard" container from Wmart (under a $1 in the kitchen dept.) that has a pointy spout on it. I just used the big brake booster vacuum line. You don't even have to squeeze the bottle, just point it downward close to the opening of the line and let the vacuum @ idle pull the liquid into the motor. I definitely noticed a smoother idle/ acceleration.
they way that i do it for years is i turn the car off right after it sucks in all the fluid, that way it really cleans the top of the piston and the valves, then after about 3 min i start her up and drive down the nearest busy street
