Willing to learn

Ok so i have noticed that most of these threads ar alittle old. I recently aquired an 03 Lancer OZ with 45,000 miles. Not t thing wrong with it accept the front rotors may be a little warped. any one know what I can do to get her a little faster just so it performs well. I am not lookin to drop a TON of money but i have some to spare. Any tips would be great. Thanks again

Thumbs up Old info = GOOD INFO

This is your cars heaven. ** http://www.roadracemotorsports.com **

Best 1 mod for over all power for the OZ is the Piggy back ECU

Next, H/I/E (headers, intake & exhuast). Thats N/A tho.

Got Turbo??!

4 things id get are.

rpw headers
maganaflow catback exhaust
intake
and RRM piggyback ecu.

all that will cost around 1.5-2k.

give you about 20-30hp ( crank ) so your lancer will be bumped up from 120hp to 140-150hp for around 1,750 ( ill just average it out ). or you can spend 1,000 more and get a rrm stage 0 turbo and get about 190-200hp.

Longer answer... Depends what turbo setup you're going for. If you're going for RoadRace turbo solutions, then yes you need their header, but now they also offer a turbo manifold. If you go for Rpw, then you don't need the header. If you go custom, you decide what you use.

StreetRacing It's RoadRace Motorsports for the record

And to clarify, RoadRace has 2 setup.

1. Uses a header, with up/down pipe
1. Newer uses a "regular" turbo manifold
