Ive heard good things about the Greddy system. I also think that Hobie is fond of his Buschur system too.

But you can never go wrong with custom cat-back piping

Those would be my ONLY three nominees.

EDIT: I know that sounds harsh, but I fail to see the real benefit of any exhaust system that is less than cat-back.

exhaust is going to be my next major mod (if you can call it major). finally got my intake, short shifter, and shift knob installed. I am thinking of going with a custom (I think its cheaper) catback, what do you guys think. For once I am asking for your opinions.

Custom is the most cost effective way to get a cat-back on your car. Efficient, cheap and flexible (as in you can choose materials and muffler), but I chose Buschur (with no regrets) because I wanted to do it myself.

Custom Piping would be a slight bit cheaper, i think at least. Plus, it gives you the control over sizes, mufflers, etc, so itll definitly come out the way you wanted

EDIT: Andrew beat me to it.

thanx, I am gonna go this weekend and get a couple of quotes on different setups. I will definately want you guys thoughts on which setup. I am not familiar with the different exhaust companies and which is best. I only know of greddy and magnaflow.

that is the one thing that I am worried about, I think I am going to get a resonator, correct me if I am wrong but I think you can remove/add it as you want.

Not to steal the thread, but i am also looking to get an exhaust and want something that looks and sounds good, adds performance, but isn't too obscenely loud like a riced out civic. Is custom piping the way to go?

Im definitely going with custom pipping but I havnt decided on a muffler yet. Im not looking to spend an outragous amount on just a muffler but 100-150 would be more than acceptable, any suggestions? And Hobie do you have any sound clips of your buschur, or know of a site that does have sound clips?

also looking at this, and I want a nice, low, deep sound, not a weedeater sound. I was looking at the setup the RMR has, the greddy evolution one. any suggestions would be great. THe last thing I want to do is sound like one of those little kid cars.
