Cat-back for Sportback?

Anyone know if the reg lancer cat-back will fit a sportback or you need a special order? Performance isn't the thing for this car.. it'll be all show.

I would think it would be different as the car is different in length(I think, I dident look up exact specs but wagons are always longer =P). If it is the same length I dont see why it wouldent bolt up, but I highly doubt they are.

Its kinda like the 2.0 Jetta's and Golf's SAME exact set up on exhaust, different length, cant interchange(Unless you add piping and weld it)

Specification------------ES/OZ-------Sportback
Wheelbase, in.---------102.4----------102.4
Overall Length, in. ----180.5----------181.3
Overall Width, in. -------66.8------------66.8
Overall Height, in. ------54.1------------58.1
Curb Weight, lbs. ------2656-----------3020
Cargo Volume, cu. ft. --11.3------------60.7
Fuel Capacity, gals. ----13.2------------13.2
Seating Capacity -----------5----------------5
Front Head Room, in. --38.8------------38.8
Front Leg Room, in. ----43.2------------43.2
Rear Head Room, in. ---36.7------------37.2
Rear Leg Room, in. -----36.6 -----------36.6

They both have the same wheelbase, which means they are most likely 99% build off the same lancer platform. If it was up to me, I would assume the rest of the undercarrige is going to be the same as to where everything mounts up. I'm almost positive there was someone on here a while back with a totally modded out Sportback with a catback exhaust and everything. The only difference on the two cars is the height and length because of the roof and bumpers being a bit different.

What Rally said =)
a exhaust doesent go from wheel to wheel =P
Its the overall length you want- its a bit different. Just gotta find out where that extra is, in the back or front? Probably would work if it was in the front, but I would take a shot in the dark and say the extra length is in the back it MAY still work, if the hangers are in the same place, your muffler just may be set back a little. But if there pushed up to compensate for that extra length the hangers on the exhaust might not reach(I'm on the conclusion your going with a exhaust that would bolt right on- has factory placed hangers)- which could be easily fixed with some extra metal and some welding to make them longer =P

Or you could cut it, weld a inch pipe into and viola.
