Its not cranking because the plugs are sealing up the combustion chamber, the water inside the cylinder is holding the pistons in place (seizing the engine up) so the crankshaft cannot move. If you pull the plugs out the water will have somewhere to go. And please please please, before you crank the car with the plugs out, as safety precaution, disconnect the fuel pump and coil pack plugs. Dont want water and fuel and sparks shooting out, bad news bears

it seems like it wasnt even the cold air intake foult. dont know if the water got even in the engine..

sorry for spamming.. but also does anyone know an online store where i can get that.. how much it would be.. how hard to do it your self.. + should my car still run? it seems like too much water hit it made it to burst..

hmmm looks pretty bad dude your oil pan and maybe your engine might be gone... get a new one it is fairy cheap.... i live by your area!!! dude what school you goto??

well looks like upper oil pan? i think its called??? i live in schaumburg. i went to conant high school. right now nada for the school.

You need to take off the pan and see what caused those holes. Check to see all the rods are intact and you don't see any damage on the crank. If not, then you should just be able to install a new pan. There are a couple people on here selling one.

This is hydrolock and what happened in a nutshell. You drive into puddle. Intake sucks water in. Water ends up on top of pistons. Water does not compress. Piston nears top of its stroke, water stops it from hitting the top. Something has to give. Lancer rods are about as thick as your thumb. Rod breaks by the crank. Car still trying to run. Broken rod rolls over and when the crank comes down it punches a hole in your oil pan.
