No, they're basically just glorified resonators.

do you have an auto? if so you cant use the cold air intake. On ebay, search for bomz. They have a MAF sensor adaptor for the filter for like 20 bucks, then get a filter. Thatll prolly total to about $50.

yeh thats what i was planning on doing. but i will probably get the aluminum pipe, just cos it looks nicer, and from what ive heard there is little or no difference between that and the stock tube.

Dude glasspacks are hardly a muffler at all. Every ugly sound your car makes is amplified by them. The packing flies out in like 2000 miles and then it really sounds like poop. My dad has one on a ranger as a joke. I think he paid $11 for it.

all of these mufflers are thin tubes, they look nothing like an actual mufflers, more like resonators. But yeah magnaflow is always a good choice and they sound great, at least mine does.

lol cherry bomb... if you want something loud yah go for the cherry bomb... its not smooth at all let me warn you, its pretty rough of a growl....
resonators are smaller mufflers that just basically take off those high resonating sounds your car makes... if you peak underneath your car you have a smaller muffler (resonator) between the cat and the actual muffler...
