i think they said 10-15-20% maybe. for a stock lancer with maybe 110 hp, thats about 9-12hp gain, so its pretty nice, then it will also be good with other airflow mods.

up to 2o% though? i highly doubt that. on this car i feel it will give you about 1O% if your lucky! THOUGH WITH the right tuning.. we could see 15%

Could maybe get the WORKS reflash for tuning, at least that's what I'd do.

i want to see what power this grind produces. i feel like it may be to tame for the hardcore uys out there. then again reiability is key for most of us. so rrm made a good move.

I think for people who have no intention of tuning themselves (like me) a reflash is a great idea. Since the stock ECU is used you retain all the flexibility while still having the power when you want. The evo guys seem to stand by the tuning of WORKS, and I'm sure with a cam you could get some decent power out of it. I know if I decide to keep my lancer, I'd probably go for this cam and a reflash, maybe raise the rev limiter a bit.

but how do they do this reflash? is it generic? just a fuel cut? im skeptical of how the tune would account for ur modifications if ur car is not present *as i assume*, a generic code and you might as well buy something cheap like an safc and tune basic af ratio with adjustibility. or even a used piggy.

It's not generic, I know that much, but I'm not 100% sure how they actually flash it and take into account what you have. There is a sheet you have to fill out with things like intake mods, exhaust mods, bore, stroke, desired octane, etc. but obvously I don't have the flash so I have no idea what they actually do. When the time comes I'll get more info, I'm hoping maybe if I get a wideband and do a run with it they could maybe tune it more specifically.

well if u are savvy enough to take a reading from a wideband, remove ur ecu and send it in, i would say u have the intelligence and patience to tune urself.

They have no idea how to tune to our cam via reflash. You are better off with a piggy, really. Reflashes have limitations and can never be tuned for your specific mods. Plus if you change something, you need to pay all over again for a retune.
