Does anybody know??

THis might be a newbie question, but does anyone know what the cylinder mounted on the radiator is for??

I thought it was for temprature. Can any one reply, thanks alot!!

i believe that is the dryer for the air conditioner.... i am pretty sure it is hooked up the the ac compressor, just follow the pipes.
