Timing Belt and Water Pump.

ok so i know everyone has had the discussion about getting your timing belt done. I finally broke down at 75,000 miles and had it done. Well worth it since if the belt goes your engine is screwed. I found a place here in mass. that does a great job quickly for a great price. They did all my drive belts, my timing belt, and my water pump for around 400$ The place is called C&D Auto Repair in Westport MA on route 6. Ask for Billy

Good stuff man, I had Mynes change out my belts at around 82k. I was paranoid because I had read some posts about people having their belts break at like 62k. My timing belt was fine but my other belts were beat to crap. Mynes did it for a little over $300.

did any of you replace the timing belt on your own? I am planning on doing mine this weekend.

I have done the procedure before in my volvo but I kwow the process is similiar. My main question is how do you line it up before you start...where are the marks at? Other than that the rest is just releasing tension and popping that bad boy off.
