are those stock Lancers or with some mods on it already? Stock Lancer is rated at 120 nhp from the factory.

i highly doubt your lancer is putting out 120 hp to the wheels... thats a 0% powertrain loss, which doesnt happen. but lets say your modded airbox adds a MAXIMUM of 5hp, so thats 125 hp at the crank, and you say you have 120 at the wheels, which still makes it a 4% powertrain loss. i think only lawnmowers have that good of rating. also, Ntran999 who has a turbo AT had his car dynoed at 170 something to the wheels at i believe 5 or 6 psi... there is a dyno chart out there of it, somewhere on the forums... which is more then 10hp/psi.

i second that.... there's is no perfect engine that can transform ALL of the heat energy into WORK!!!! were not talking about the carnot engine here dude!!!! 120 to the wheels?? with just those?? did you dyno that or is it just your estimation? i believe Ntran999 had only 5psi on that dyno sheet.... Boeturbo cited that 190whp is attainable at 7psi . which gives us more than 220hp to the crank!!! i know its more than 10hp/psi, but that 10hp/psi is the average number for all turbos.... so guess that only means that RRM's turbo is above average than anyother turbo's out there..... i didn't believe it till i found NTrans999's dyno sheets.....

Ntrans was dyno'd on dynojet which gives wheel hp. RRM's setup is unique in that it actually does deliver 12-14HP/lb of boost. Amazing as it sounds it is true. I'm trying to get a dyno of mine but they keep flaking on me. As soon as i do i'll post 6psi/9psi pulls... but i'm a unique lancer so results of others will be slightly lower. Rob spent a lot of time into development over a course of many designs/configurations... thus the reason his kit is so well put together/produces so much/and is so reliable. He made it that way on purpose. Don't want blown motors out there... just reliable boosting fools gunning down Fords/Hondas/Acuras/etc. HA!

hey Ntrans, do you think your new forged pistons can handle about 7-9psi much of boost, having an auto tranny?

i am hoping the auto tranny can handle like 9-10 lbs of boost... if it can, that is one FAST lancer... that will be pushing 240-250 at the crank... DAMN! now with an LSD thrown on there, we are gonna be hauling ***... i am thinking that the forged pistons will handle the boost pretty well, im just worried about the con rods. ive seen a pic of them and they are pretty pathetic looking in size. obviously the stock tranny can hold up more then the stock motor under boost... so lets hope for the best out of the AT i dont think it is as much of a slushbox as some people tend to think.

Sorry fellas I sold my car today but the new pistons can handle around 7-9 psi. The turbo itself can handle twice that much. I had a few plans for my car but my mom made me get rid of it. I blew my engine at 8.5 psi. But at 8.5 psi i kept up with a supercharged mustang gt and he had 426 at the wheels. He had a head start and i caught up with him but he was ahead by a car length. Not ashamed that I lost though.

No sir. You were cheating with your ninja tactics. Plus, I think I've got you pretty handily beat now with my header/downpipe.

Good point at any point in the high end. Before my header, there was a bit of a slowdown above 80, but now I can power through to the 110 range pretty effortlessly. Plus with my current setup (intake, header, exhaust), there's ZERO problem accelerating hard through 3rd and 4th all the way to about 125-130 when wind resistance starts kicking in. I'm gonna be hitting my next round of performance goodies soon (2.5" catback exhaust, FPR, fuel management) and I'll let you guys know how things feel.
