search.

if you want a whole intake, get an MAF adapter from ebay or autozone.
then get a K&N or Steel Mesh filter.

K&N make the best filters, and you aren't really gonna get any better for the price.

Well your buying a damn good product as well. Don't expect to get a new respectable top quality product for a price similar to that of a generic brand off Ebay.

For that matter check Ebay for brand new K&N.

When it comes to filters...you get what you pay for. Sure K&N have a bit of initial investment ($20.00 more then OEM or other stuff) but they last pretty well forever.

i'm sure k&n well hold up to their name.. but i'm with you "you get what you pay for" the weapon-r on the other hand is a comlpany i've heard of before but never read reviews or what people had to say... the one for $50. sounds like a good deal (sale price) if its a good filter.. (that i don't know) i guess i just need to do a little more research..
thanks....

Here's the bottom line to me - you ask for advice and then shoot everyone down. What do you need us for? Do you just want us to go "yeah, you picked the perfect one!" or what?

did your feeling get hurt, even tho you didn't even add a suggustion.. (well sorry bout that) the 4th post pretty much stated i'm not really looking into k&n as for the weapon-r filter hearing bad reveiws or it won't be good for a lancer would be better to hear...(now i'm not trying to be a smart-@ss but if you'd like to tell me something shoot me a pm.)
thanks for the suggestions tho.

I'm sure that's what happened. His feelings got hurt. Actually I think what happened is that you're a newb. If you knew anything you would realize that Blacksheepdj is a mod and has been on here for awhile, furthermore his suggestion was on topic. I too echo what he says; be prepared that when you ask a question you'll get a response.

K&N wins in my book for the price. Can't go wrong with a company that is trusted by street tuners to pros. If you want to go with the Dragon intake then fine. I'm sure it's a nice product but it's not K&N... didn't they invent the reuseable intake, or at least perfect it?

In the future when you have your heart set on a product, and don't want to hear every opinion, then just search and ask those who have it in PM. You'll get a totally biased opinion in that way, get your product and continue to live in the fantasy world where other's opinions don't matter.
