I doubt anyone does as of yet...and do you have enhanced fuel needs to necessitate that?

A turbo or a supercharger for instance would require more fuel no doubt. Unless you're running either one, I really doubt you will need a fuel pressure regulator.

A fuel regulator alone is not going to benefit you much, if all. Money spent other ways will. Regulator is usually needed to regulate a big fuel pump which in turn is feeding turbo or other major mods.

RPW Fuel Pressure Regulators

Firstly RPW does sell fuel pressure regulator kits for the Lancer model vehicles. Have been doing so for years for the mirage vehicles as well.

But you don't need one on a stock car.

Wait until you have done exhaust, extractors, air cleaner and throttle body then fit one.

Our units are a 1.7 : 1 ratio unit as opposed to standard 1 : 1 ratio. Ie ours responds faster to vacuem changes, is boost sensitive as well and does allow you to raise the fuel pressure to help overcom flat spots off acceleration.

They come with all the fittings you need including fuel hoses, clamps, fuel pressure guage, adapter into the fuel rail.

They also do work better with bigger pumps but that is not necessary for these cars at this time.

With our 65mm and 70mm throttle bodies these are basically necessary to help overcome flat spots that wide open throttle can produce.
RPW is also looking at new MAF units with larger flow rates so that you can get more air into the motor.

MAF Sensor

Something i have been working on for teh Proton Vehicles and I am now looking at them for the Mirge / Lancer. It would require some reqiring of a plug to a larger plug but the MAF sensor on the Mirage is already running a restrictor plate which when removed already makes it bigger. BUt it is a new area I am looking into.
